Shipping policy

Shipping

We offer free shipping on all Canadian orders over $100 before taxes, after discounts. A flat shipping rate of $10 will be applied to all Canadian orders under $100, All orders ship Canada Post, including PO Boxes. Some rules and conditions may apply. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Missing Packages 

Within Canada - If you receive a notification that your order has been delivered, but you cannot locate the package - please proceed to the following Canada Post page located here. The carrier will be able to assist in locating the missing parcel when you follow the steps outlined on this page. If you cannot locate the package after going through the steps listed on their website, you will be asked to start an investigation as the receiver. Once the investigation is complete, we hope that you will have received your package, however if not, please contact The Art of Shaving customer service with your ticket number and we will be able to assist you further.

Please DO NOT contact The Art of Shaving customer service prior to completing an investigation (when required) with the carrier. 

Damaged Packages 

If your package arrives damaged, please follow these steps to ensure a quick resolution:

  • Before opening the package:
    • Take clear pictures of the box from all angles.
  • After opening the package:
    • Photograph the inside of the box, including all packaging materials, before removing the products.
  • Additional information:
    • Take a close-up photo of the shipping label.

Once you’ve taken these pictures, email them to our customer service team at hello@theartofshaving.ca. Our team will review the information and provide a solution to address the issue.

Return to Sender
If a Canadian order is shipped to the address provided at checkout and is not deliverable due to incomplete address, or is not picked up by the customer as indicated by the tracking number within the designated number of days as outlined by the courier, the order will be returned to Sender. In this case, the order will be refunded minus any shipping fees paid once it has been received back at our warehouse. If no shipping fees were paid, a set amount of $9.95CAD will be deducted from the refund to cover the additional shipping fees incurred. If the customer wishes to have the package re-shipped, an additional fee of $9.95CAD must be paid by the customer. 

Shipping of Dangerous Goods 

Products that are classified as "Dangerous Goods" based on Canadian regulations are required to be shipped by ground and not by air. This may cause a delay in expected shipping times. This is beyond our control and we reserve the right to ship orders based on the rules provided without indication to the customer at the time of ordering or shipping. All orders will still ship Expedited. Products classified as Dangerous Goods may include but are not limited to aerosols, flammables, and products containing Lithium Ion batteries.
